Who are we?

Harvest Veterinary Clinic Maidenbower was established in 1996 by Chris Dawson and Martin Bennett. Broadbridge Heath was later opened in July 2020 with Vet Lucie and RVN Emily running the practice. We then became part of the Medivet group in June 2021.

We treat all small animals at a very high level both medically and surgically.

All our staff are trained to a very high standard and have undergo ongoing further professional development to keep these standards high. Equally important is the fact that they are chosen for their caring attitude and devotion to the patients under their care and their ability to use this to give the best service possible even under very difficult and sad circumstances.

For an appointment or for further information please telephone 01403 334977 or visit our Facebook page.

Meet the team:

Dr. Lucie Hancox B.V.Sc M.R.C.V.S.

Veterinary Surgeon

Lucie joined our team just before lockdown occurred in March 2020. Working alongside Chris, Lucie was a massive part of the Harvest team.

After qualifying as a vet in Sydney in 1996, Lucie left to travel around Britain, working as a locum in Suffolk and Surrey. Two years later she met fellow vet and now husband, Andy. Lucie ran a busy practice in Epsom before joining us here at Harvest.

With 20 years experience, her special interests are ophthalmology and small animal medicine.

Lucie has a beautiful rescue lurcher called Mabel, who quite often comes with Lucie to the practice. In her spare time, she enjoys walking Mabel with Andy.

Dr. Lucy Kulp BVetMed(Hons) MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Lucy graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2014. After completing a years internship at the Equine Referal Hospital and working for 6 months in ambulatory equine practice she decided to make the switch to treat smaller animals;  which is where, in her first job, she met our receptionist Sarah H! After spending the last 6 years working in a few practices around Surrey, Sarah introduced Lucy to our team at Harvest where she started working in April 2021. Lucy has a keen interest in internal medicine, particularly in relation to the care of geriatric patients. She is also a certified OV which means she can complete all the necessary paperwork to get your pets ready for their summer travels!

Lucy has a baby tortoise called Stanley (who is almost certainly a girl but, only weighing in at 8g when he hatched was too small to tell!) and is a keen runner – she was in the process of training for her 3rd marathon as we went into lockdown last year; she is looking forward to starting to race again now restrictions are easing.

Lucy will be splitting her time between both Maidenbower and Broadbridge Heath clinics.

Emily Willis

Head Nurse and Clinical Coach

Emily joined Harvest in 2000, and qualified in 2009, joining Broadbridge Heath in June 2020. She has a comprehensive knowledge of radiography, and enjoys assisting with orthopaedic surgery.

Outside of work, Emily has her own Noah’s Ark – 2 dogs; border terrier Hetty and French bulldog Fletcher. 4 cats; Vinnie, Elbie, Mable and Purkins, 3 of which she hand reared and 2 guinea pigs; Mouse and Eeyore.

She also enjoys socialising with her friends, and spending time with her husband and 3 young children.

Prudie Richards

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Prudie started with Harvest in July 2021. She qualified as an RVN in 2020 at Hartpury University.

Her particular interests are in exotic anaesthesia, laboratory and pharmacy, she would also love to become a clinical coach too, to help train the future veterinary nurses! Prudie has a passion for diabetes management so much so she wrote her dissertation thesis on diabetic care in cats and dogs.

At home, she has 2 dogs (Mississippi and Lulu), 2 horses (Jacob and Tilly), 3 cats and a few other farm animals. In her spare time she likes to compete Jacob in dressage and showing.

Prudie will be splitting her time between both Maidenbower and Broadbridge Heath clinics.

Chloe Wells

Chloe joined us here at Harvest in May 2021.

She rescued a Mixed Breed dog called Dexter. His favourite activity is digging holes in her garden!

In her spare time she loves countryside walks with Dexter, and spending time with friends and family.

Chloe is looking forward to meeting all our lovely clients and patients!
